If Real Estate Taxes and Storm water Management Utility Fees appearing on this Website are more than one(1) year delinquent, please contact the Portsmouth City Treasurer's Office, 757-393-8651, Option 2. These properties are eligible for "Tax Sale" , and have been assigned to Attorneys to conduct the "Bill In Equity For Sale of Delinquent Tax Lands" Process in accordance with the Code of Virginia, 58.1-3965. Processing Cost and Fees, other than the Delinquent Taxes, and Storm water Fees, have accrued, and are not reflected on the City's Website.
